Thanks to the Surrey TVR Specialists

Just a quick post of thanks to Surrey's excellent TVR specialists on behalf Karen and I. 2005 has certainly bought its share of trials and tribulations. It has underlined to me that a glossy shop front is no substitute for old fashioned standards, honesty and professionalism.

Hats off to David, Darren and Natasha at the Garage in Compton, Toby, Claire and Pete at TVR Fix and last but not least, Paul, Alex, Bob and the team at Austec Racing. Special thanks go to Tim at ACT and the one and only Mark Adams, for the 1am finishes and efforts frankly well beyond the call of duty. Thanks also go to Racing Green, for their generous hospitality and seemingly endless supply of bacon butties.

Actually, I would like to add a more general thank you to ALL of the enthusiastic folks who help keep our beasties on the road. I have had the Cerbera a year now, and the whole experience has been incredible - helped in no small part by the friendliness, knowledge and willing nature of all the folks I've come across.

Can't comment on any of the others, but I'd like to echo Steve's endorsement of Austec. They've provided me with excellent service this year; combining experience, skill, passion and (perhaps above all) patience.

Thanks must also go to everyone on PH for their advice, which has saved my cheque book and credit cards on numerous occasions over the past 12 months

Ditto about Austec. I've only used them twice and one of thise times was their open day but I can only endorse the excellent service I got from them.

Yes. Pete is an ex main-dealer mechanic, so plenty of experience. Toby & Claire who own the garage also own a rather lovely Griff. I've used them, as have other folks in the Surrey region and have heard good reports from all.
