Cerbera Drag Race

I've just watched a copy of one of my favourite Clarkson videos 'Unleashed on Cars' which I found on ebay.

yes it's the one with the supercar drag race to Cerbie drivers!

Best 99p I ever spent...

Oh Yes!! That was why I just had to have a Cerb!! I was transfixed while watching that bit of the video. Still the best car I have ever owned.....BAR NONE! Cerby.

Was it a 1/4 mile (think longer) have the vid - 1/2 mile - what was the time?

Surely it has to be a whole mile in ~ 30 seconds.

Standing mile in 31.2 secs.

Going from what others have said, that car was tested by Autocar and was found to have 350bhp (quoted by factory as 360bhp) so the conclusion was it hadn't been monkeyed around with.

No idea if its still in circulation. So is the drag race thing happening at a RWYB?

The 4.2 Cerbie I think is no longer around,

It's last Tax disc expired in 1998.

And is now Untaxed and not on Sorn.

Could be sitting in someone's lock up or Written off.

love it.... Maybe it was fettled...alot are being brought up to 'factory sepc' now and could be even quicker.

It puts a decent amount of space between even the first loser

I recon with the Cerbs longer legs above a hundred it wouls still sort a Sag out.

A decent 4.5 would sort a Sag out below 100 as well. Hopefully a few Sags will appear at some of the drag days at Santa Pod and Elvington etc in 2006???
