Just been to the new site for Dulford Autos / TVRcarparts.com near Culumpton Devon.

WOW its huge, and full of Kit/Guys! Well Done Rich and the boys!
Many of you probably know Rich (Smith) from Peninsula and then Peninsula-TVR, when he started the Main Dealership in Exeter. well after an illness earlier this year (05) he's now back and fighting fit and has pulled out of Peninsula and is concentrating all his efforts on Dulford Autos.
My cars been there for a week or two (for some more gogogoodies) and on popping in was told that the new centre was ready and the car was there! Popped along...Its Huge! bigger than Peninsula-TVR i reckon! Large car park, big reception area, HUGE stores (for all those TVRcarparts goodies) a dedicated Engine/'box rebuild room and best of all...a ROLLING ROAD!!!

R/Roads not ready at the moment as it needs to be upgraded to take all those TVR horses.
They had everything in when i was there, and they were just about to paint everything insight too. as you can probably tell I was seriously impressed. Its all about twice as big and more importantly twice as GOOD as I was expecting, but then its probably no more than I should have known Rich would do if i had sat down and thought about it.
Anyway, all the best to Rich and the Guys...see you all in the new year, not too soon, Eh

I take it from the orignal post that dulford auto was open today. I've been trying to call them today with no answer to book my wheels in for its fisrt service with them. Not to worry, listening to all the good whispers about them I think I'll persevere.

just had my engine totally rebuilt at Dulford's, and very impressed i am too, can't praise them highly enough for all their knowledge and expertise.

Rollin' road you say? wow! i need to book the car in to have the new shocks corner weighted and the new engine's first oil change and check over. I may just book in a rolling road session too.

The main stays go back to Team Central (Tuscan race teams - Ian Flux - C'ship winner etc) then Exeter TVR Main dealer - Brooklands, then Peninsula (as Independants) then Peninslua-TVR Main Dealer and back as Independant as Dulford.
1600/V6/V8/AJP/SP6...they've done it all!
They certainly know their way around my car! Not much is original now...

I live in the west midlands and Rich used to pick my car up on a low-loader and just charge the diesel! Then I'd hop a train down and he'd have me collected from the station! Don't know if he can still offer this service but it may be worth a call?

I had an email from them saying that they would pick up my Tamora and bring it back for just the cost of the diesel! Can't get any fairer than that.
