lots of the clip missing,
M5 V10 on test for EVO. it was an 8:55 lap and we hit 160ish on the final straight.
mine was faster than his, we lost and caught him several times in traffic and couldn't run the Karussels as the car was set low for Spa...
...but the driver knew the Ring better than me anyway, so we stayed behind.
he was pretty impressive in a 2tonne car on road tyres! :thumbsup:

That bloody happened to me at about 120mph on a Sprint at Aintree. Because I had my helmet and harnesses on, I couldn't get high enough in the seat to see over the top.
Scared the poo out of me as I tried to stop hoping not to hit something.
The marshall ran over and asked "What's the problem?"
I sat
for a short while.

Happened to me at nearly 140mph on the Autobahn on way back from Germany last October ...
... luckily I am 6'5" so I was able to look over the top and maintain visibility, whilst my passenger (Who was shorter and could see nothing) helpfully informed me as to where the traffic was as I pulled over.
My assumption is that I hadn't clipped the bonnet down properly rather that it being some sort of design quick.
I think I must have caused some amusement as some miles later when I re-over took a people carrier I had just passed before the 'incident' - the kids in the back of the carrier were pointing and waving frantically at me ...
... normally I would have assumed it was them appreciating the car - on this occasion I think it was more a matter of ...
'Look Dad there's that car that the bonnet almost came off!!

That was the problem with mine - my error I'm afraid. Its the one thing I check now everytime I go for a razz.
