Depends on the system. Typically feels like the car has developed a misfire that gets worse the more throttle you give it, but on some posh systems they use a throttle stretcher instead (so it just feels like you have eased off the gas although your foot is still buried in the Wilton).
The Racelogic system cuts the spark so it makes a kind of spitting noise like a slight misfire. Normal manufacturer systems often work by applying the brakes slightly which is nowhere near as subtle as an aftermarket set up like Racelogic.
The more powerful the car the more noticeable something like Racelogics system is ...... I had it on a chipped 220bhp turbo'd fwd car and then on a 220 bhp turbo'd rwd car. It was subtle on the rwd but went bonkers on the fwd as the car was always struggling to put power down. A very good system though.

On the good systems like is the new Focus ST, you feel as if you've ran out of "go" and that depressing the loud pedal further produces nothing, its applied softly though, allowing some slip before coming into play.
Many other systems are more like an on/off switch, once they detect you are past the limit, engine power is cut, which I feel in some circumstances could do more harm than good though.
In most circumstances if you're not driving 7/10th or more, its best to have it there as as safety net if you have it IMO.

When I first got my Audi Quattro I turned up at the rugby club for an away match, to be greeted by 15 mates (all waiting for me, as usual) standing in a gravel car park. Aha I thinks, show off/doughnut time 
Proceeded to accelerate and crank the wheel over hard to induce lots of show off manouvers/gravel flinging etc, for the t/c to cut in, cutting power to the wheels and resulting in me driving in a very slow circle.
Got out the car to howls of laughter from said mates
Its great for wet slippy roundabouts when you're not concentrating fully and going too fast

Back to traction control - I posted, wondering about the 1000bhp cerbera. Surely this will have TC (I should have asked). Boss cerbera had something to say about getting power down in the Boss, and how 0-60 his 4.5 was easier to get off the line and up to 60 than the boss.
I spoke to the company who worked on ASH's car (didnt realise it was them until they told me) about possible head work last year, and they said traction control was something they 'could' fit on a TVR - Surely it would be totally necessary on a 1000bhp cerbera, even in 5th? Im just thinking out loud (living dangerously then
) I suppose Ash will be along any minute to tell me it has already been fitted

RL TC uses the ABS sensors for it's control signals, so you'd have to add pickups to all 4 corners, but other than that I can't see why you couldn't fit it. Steve Heath talks at length about it being fitted to his Race V8.
I fitted RL TC to my 300zx, but haven't considered fitting it to the Cerb' as you just need to apply a different driving style. In the 300zx I consider it the best mod I fitted and I do have a few extra black boxes fitted ;

I'm working with Mark on this for the LS Cerbie but it doesn't look hopeful as the system isn't quite what it seems.

Dont get me wrong though, I dont want TT(!) The reason I posted - was just wondering if it had the same kind of on/off/on/off effect as ABS has when it locks up, as I tried to imagine getting any amount of power down (even enough to pull away slowly) in a car like ash's cerbera.My Racelogic system is very smooth as it has different levels of traction control and applies them depending on the amount of slip that is permitted and other factors. It is also based on cutting injectors rather than sparks. Except for real hard cuts, I don't notice it at all and often it isn't until I've looked at the data log do I really see when the TC was actually active. Takes a bit of work to get it set up but it is fine. It will be interesting to see how it performs when the 520 is supercharged - engine strip and setup is in progress right now - but I don't expect any issues or problems.
