Please....Advice needed!!!!

I know I'm in the wrong place, but everyone else is ignoring me, and you guys will know...!!!!!

Need new rear tyres on the Bm (330ci). Eagle F1's will cost me £185 each. Avon's will cost me about £125 each....but Toyo's on ebay for £85 each. Am I right in thinking these are good tyres? I was under the impression that TVr's run on them, but they just appeared a bit cheap?

Had Toyo T1Ss on my cerb, which, if Im honest, I found didnt like the wet stuff too much, but then again, I very rarely take it out in the rain.

Ive now got F1s on the rear (seems to be the tyre of choice ATM, certainly with cerbs) but havent done enough miles on them to comment.

FYI, I got www.blacktyres.com to quote (£166) then phoned my local tyre place, told them I was quoted £140 and if they would match my other quote they can have the order. They fitted them 2 days later I do use this tyre place fairly regularly, so that may have swayed them?

Awful for the first 1,000 miles but then very good.
Although I agree with the comment about damp conditions, yesterday I was getting understeer prior to the usual oversteer on roundabouts.

Would I fit them to a mostly dry use TVR - yes I would.
Would I fit them to an everyday BMW - no.

My choice would be Dunlop I reckon.

I've found Toyo's good dry & wet, the old T1-S better than the T1-R but i've only done about 1000mile on the R's so refer to Bumber Denton's post..

Just bought Gooyear F1's for the rear of my Tamora from www.mytyres.co.uk for £115.50 each, give them a try.

As well as being a lover of toyo tyres after racing on them for years i also have them fitted to all my road cars including my bmw 325 ci convertible and i find them excellent with the right tyre pressures, i dont mean to be funny but your bmw is not likely to light up the rear wheels like a tvr and on my bm they are more than adequate even under hard driving conditions

I was thinking this!! I never take the traction control off, and it rarely skids...so how bad can they be. I just want something I can trust should I need to travel at 150, in a life saving emergency, obviously.
