I have just poped over to Racing Green in Ash Vale to see the new set up and talk to John Heywood the chap running the TVR Operation.

What can I say, well:

-It is a purpose built large spacious building.
-very well equiped workshop with all the tools and technology to set up TVRs. The demonstration of the wheel balancing machine was excellent, a great bit of kit that makes your car feel so much better.
-Easy to find
-good coffee
-Great cars there as well: Speed12 of course, variouse TVRs and some truly beautiful Jags, especialy the e-types.
- also John, a good man who knows his stuff. He took the time to show me round the place, excellent.

If you have the time it is well worth a trip to see.

David

Hi Mike,
I live in Fleet too, and hope to be there on Sunday. Already been there a few times now and it does seem a great set up. Look out for J 5000CC, and I hope to be seeing another TVR in Fleet soon.....?

Is tomorrow an Open Day, and can anyone attend?

If so, I'll try and pop down.

Hi Jarcy

Yep, hopefully another Chimaera in Fleet soon. Looks like it will be later as opposed to sooner, as redundancy has put somewhat of a spanner in the works!!
So in the meantime keep on the lookout for a dark blue Audi Cabriolet in Fleet
Looking forward to seeing you Sunday!

Thanks
Mike

Hi it is not an official open day, but John is opening and will make bacon roles for those that arrive at 10-11am.

BTW: I have nothing todo with Racing Green, but was impressed with the set-up.

Nothing wrong with a little Thespian activity on a Sunday morning but what has John got in mind?

Leon the Pig Farmer? Babe? Gordy?

I think we should know
