how much oil should my tuscan use had a little run tonight checet the oil the last time out week ago ok spin to night never go over 2500 3000 till oil 60 but the oil was taking ages to heat up not normaly like that came home oil level very low cant see a leek can the dip stick be telling porkes should i put in oil and if so how much and how do i know and the oio presher is 48 when driving

It's best to check the oil for the tuscan immediatley affter you switch of the engine after the car has been for a drive, this will give you the best reading.
If you check the oil when the car has been standing for a while you get a inacurate reading which is generally to low.
You can put oil in without worrying about overfill as it's a dry sump on the car and all oil is stored in the chrome oil tank and not in the engine just dont fill it up right to the top.
I can't help with oil pressure but i'll check when I go for a drive..

Upper 40s is what mine has reported at 2-3k when warm since I have had it, rising to about 60 at 5k (idle about 25ish - higher when cold).

My method of testing is to open the bonnet whilst the engine is running, loosen the dipstick, switch off the engine, take reading. I get variable readings +-2mm using a consistent method and I think that is the key - consistancy.

I try to keep the level at half way to full and find I am using about 1 litre every 1200 miles or so. I would not want to be running less than halfway full but that is personal preferance and if anything I woul rather over fill slightly. I have found full to empty is about 1 litre.
