Wipers not parking - Griff/Chimaera - help?

Done a quick search of the archives but couldn't find much...

So, the wipers on my Griff have started to park randomly when I turn them off. I'm sure I've read about the fix for this but can't find where. Anyone know or been there and ixed the same problem? Rich...

p.s. thought I'd post here so both Griff and Chimaera owners see it.

Sounds like wiper motor park switch. A couple of quid from your friendly local TVR dealer...

It's the park switch on the wiper motor, they go regularly and you have to learn to switch teh wipewrs off just as they hit the park point until you go for service. Does not need a new wiper motor, just a new park switch, a few quid

Do your intermittent wipers work?
If not, look for the relay in the fuse box. It needs reseating.

Yes they intermit OK but won't park. Oh and the intermittently stop randomly across the screen.

I had exactly the same problem recently.
I found jiggling the plug underneath the motor fixed it temporarily, so I removed the plug and cleaned the contacts - all OK.

I had same problem - then someone told me my brake lights weren't working. Checked the fuse, and whaddaya know - wiper parking and brake lights same fuse. Insert one 15A yellow thingy and back in business
