Griff one wipe.

Does the Griff have a 'one wipe' function, by pushing the stalk down? I've had the Leven wipers fitted and this function doesn't seem available. I'm sure I used to have it.

Does the Griff have any wipe function at all?
I was always under the impression that the wipers on mine were just there to fulfil legal requirements, as they sure as hell don't do a lot to clear the screen when it's raining

If you lift the lever upwards,just gently,without clicking into the first intermittent setting,then you will get a single wipe.Not sure if this is a deliberate feature from vauxhall,or if its just the contacts making when they shouldn't!!

That's exactly what I get now. I'm sure I used to be able to push it down for the same operation.

Nope,never had that on any of the griffs,or chim that i owned.Your not thinking of a Rover are you?They do it that way.

My van does it that way. I'm probably mistaken, but I could've swore that the Griff did it as well. I'll never know now.

Nope. First position is intermittent wipe - delay set by the twirly knob on s/wheel cowl. By just lifting the lever you are giving a pulse to this setting so just get one wipe.

Geoff - get a Leven Wiper Kit, then you'll realise what they should be like!
