Bringing the baby for her first drive

I took my 6 week old daughter for her fist drive in my car yesturday. i got some funny looks. Is it legal to put a baby in a two seater car? she was in a car seat and how could she sleep through all that noise . It was a slow drive maybe thats why the funny looks

I've seen 4 seater cars with the child seat in the front (so mums can attend to them better i presume) so don't see why not.

Was it because she was driving perhaps?

Totally legal and safe, assuming they are in an appropriate child seat, fitted properly and that you do not have passenger airbags (not a TVR issue). I used to get odd looks taking my daughter to nursery in the Griff, but she loved it.

Yep

Fond memories of my little 'uns first few weeks in her car seat, roof down.

She went everywhere looking a little startled by the entire idea.

My kids love it. They fight over it! "MY TURN!". I quite often do the school run in it!

I went to see my 2 week old niece yesterday and my brother said to me she's waiting to go for a drive in your car, i didn't take her though as it was wet and dark but said i will do next time i visit (weather permitting)

Every Saturday I take my little girl to her dance class she's just turned 4 and the looks you get with her in the front seat of a Cerbera. I've now got her waving at the good looking girls who all wave back!!!!
