TVRCC Party at Tankersley

Just a quick reminder that the TVRCC Post Christmas Bash at Tankersley is on 18 December. It would be nice to see some of you there. Details are on the club website or in Sprint, but I'll make it easier:

It costs £29.95 for a ticket, plus rooms £72.50 for a double or £57.50 for a single.

You book by phoning the club office 01952 770635, and have to have your menu choice ready. So here's the choices

Veg Soup
Duck Pate

Turkey
Salmon
Veggie puff pastry thing

Christmas Pudding
Purple cheesecake
*****
Coffee etc

So who's up for it then? It'll be a good night I reckon something to liven January up a bit.

Daft question, but since its 'smart dress', is anyone donning a tux. I've got one that comes out for xmas black tie events and hasn't been used this year (poxy medievel do instead!!) so I'm looking for an excuse!!

John - would the Chesterfield lot be driving through Sheffield and up the A61 to J36? If so, whilst not suggesting a convoy, I am literally a stones throw from the A61 so could join you.. Saves me getting lost..

Unless you fancy calling into the carpark of the flats I live in; 1 minute from the 61 just out of the city centre. Its enclosed by buildings on all sides but open to the air and I get some lovely noises from my exhaust when I fire her up.. Don't know how many of you there are, but we could make quite a noise I suspect.. Not that I wish to pose in front of my neighbours of course..
