Always nice to give praise where it is due - bought some of Steve's drop links, got charged by well known indie near Cambridge to fit them - they failed miserably even when Steve offered to turn up to show them how.....anyway Steve offered to come to my house and fit them himself - which he did today - with no problems at all. Turned up a few embarrassing questions which certain indie will now have to answer( or face legal action). Main point is you rarely get this kind of service from the big companies - nice to see a small outfit like Steve backing his product to the hilt - nice one Steve !!!

I was thinking of doing this upgrade myself to my own 4.5 Chimeara (front initially), having just had the GAZ Gold shocks fitted and suspension setup checked. What problems were encountered in fitting the drop-links?

None in reality which was pleasing from my point of view but not so good from John's.

The real challenge is usually getting the old ones off. They sometimes need some persuading.
