Now thats what I call service!

To make a long story short,

Racing Green replaced the clutch. pockets lighter.
The clutch went after a few years and only 15000 miles. Thought it was unusual but it was oil contamination so thought ok.
3 months or so ago they replaced it. More money.
After only 7000 miles clutch was slipping again.
Again contamination, so another new clutch.
Wondered if they would hand me a bill when I went to collect the old girl.

Instead all I got was an appology for taking so long and have a nice day.

How is that for service?

Does this beat it? - Went to Racing Green with TVRCC last Sunday and immobiliser decided to.. well, immobilise the car, leaving me stranded (no spare seats back to Bristol). As the loan cars were all booked out the service manager (Martin Slade) lent me his OWN car until my Griff was sorted. Their Alarm/electrician after 4 days and 4 attempts managed to do a temp. fix and I picked the car up yesterday (having put 300m on Martin's car). My car was washed and shining (was left v. dirty on Sunday after 100m blast). Total bill £0 - because the alarm wasn't fully fixed! Amazing service from honest guys doing their best .... and I'm not even a customer of their's! Thanks Racing Green!

I remember when I turned up there with dad on a Sunday afternoon and the old guy who works upstairs in the Jaguar section took me out in his C-Type replica... it was awesome!

I only work with word of mouth recommendations and it does seem that Racing Green have this sewn up. Racing Green is treating their customers as king which would give me confidence to use them if I ever found myself in their area.

Nothing but praise for Racing Green myself, especially their new bodyshop chap steve.
My only complaint is that they always lend my girlfriend (whose TVR Chim it is) something inyeresting like a Sagaris, and I got a kia Picante. Nice.

Got to admit that I use them and really like the level of service. They are very helpful and also give a TVR CC discount on servicing.

They make a lot of other dealers and most of the indies look really bad (which their customer service generally is..).

well they did mine
it was proper dirty they may have felt sorry for it

Likewise - Martin/Colin, you need to get in some upgraded loan cars - the Kia just cannot match the Tuscan!

Have used RG a lot in the last year and they have always been excellent - speak very highly of them and they are even sponsoring me for the London Marathon! Would ideally have NOT wanted to spend so much, but glad I did so in the end with them.
