Always had the cerb serviced at the factory,so when the powers that be pulled the plug they severed the heart and the head looked elsewhere. Now I'm real comfy letting Ian take care of matters. Not one to plug services, but I'll make an exception this once. The Middlewich pleasure dome is like a one stop centre of excellence. Simmilar to the factory in that you can talk to the guy who's actually working on you motor. A straight talkin, no nonsence guy who's interested in you and moreso you pride and joy, rather than the faceless frontman who's motivated by the figures and your wallet. On the flip side, he makes a nice brew too!

Always had my Cerb & Tuscan serviced at the factory - always got to chat with the guys that worked on them and always got a good brew.

Glad they are opening up again. Just not sure if they will want to look after my current wheels!

Jellison, not everybody has your obvious level of engineering skill, but we do want people who know what they are doing with what is a very specialist car. I am in the process of getting another TVR,and take a cynical view on the factory reopening their service shop. Last time I phoned them they said they would not be opening it again (last year), so will support an independant with experienced people if I manage to buy another car (wife issues).

Well I am delighted that the service department is open again. Heath and Paul know the cars inside and are very helpful, Leslie is also brill to deal with and if I lived miles away I would still take my car there. They are now in a different area in the factory and seem a lot more independant with the new set up.

I know some of the independants out there are very good and more convenient for people who live a long way from Blackpool but I can assure you the guys in the service department are as good as it gets. Personally I still believe that a car with a full factory service history makes it more appealling come sale time.

From my own experience, I wouldn't bother. Pityfull. Thought they would be the best as they make them and made a lengthy journey. BIG MISTAKE! Go somewhere you know and trust. Anywhere, just not there.

That's what I thought. My previous Tuscan had a full factory service history and it didn't make selling it any easier than my Chimaera. However, I personally felt much better knowing that the people who built my car we're also looking after it and as I approach my 6000 mile service for my Tamora I may take a roadtrip to Blackpool....
