I was e-mailing them on friday and as I understand they are still editing so it won't have even gone to print yet.

Problem also is that when you try to access TVRCC website you can't 'cause they say have changed the password which of course is only available in Sprint.

Look in the last Sprint (one with the conv Tuscan), it tells you the new password will change on the 15th Feb and gives you the new one

The magazine was edited & completed over a week ago.

I know that because I edited & completed it.

It was then proofed, printed & sent to the mailing house for the end of the month.

If your copy hasn't arrived yet, it should be with you tomorrow Bob

I was working on something with Derek Smith that had to be in his hands by last Friday so the timing didn't make sence. I'm confused.

Your article will almost certainly be in April's issue.

The deadline for most copy is the 1st of the preceding month. The reasons for this are manifold but it is reasonable. I will expect to have all the copy edited and corrected by the 10th and this will give me time to modify anything if space is a problem.

Your article has been sent off to Jon together with photos and he'll probably complete the layout in the next couple of days. Thanks for your contribution.

Deadlines are strange things - editors find them so simple to understand but they confuse writers.
