Hello my name is Adam Barnes and I am studying transport design at Huddersfield University. We have just been set a brief from TVR to design a packaging solution of our choice. This effectively means design an accessory, any accessory!

To evaluate the most interesting solution I need to ascertain what the TVR owner get up to and how they use the cars.

• Where do the owners go?

• Who do they go with?

• Why do they go there?

• Do they go the quickest route, longest route or most scenic?

• How often do they drive the car?

• What do they use the vehicle for? Track, posing, driving enjoyment, statement, looking at etc.

• What other activities do the owners enjoy?

Etc.. anything that will tell me about how the car is used so that I can identify any areas that might benefit from an accessory.

For the trip to Le Mans, it's the quickest route, for my 'private' trips, it's usually whereever there is a good road. These are supposed to be 'drivers' cars. • How often do they drive the car? Track, posing, driving enjoyment, statement, looking at etc. I would say 'driving enjoyment' sums it up well, that why i wouldn't have a TVR for my daily commute, it always needs to be 'just for the fun of it' • What other activities do the owners enjoy? Just the normal sex, booze, and rock'n'roll. We're really quite normal people, normal mixture of the sane and certified!

Hello Adam, i hope the above are of some use, and best of luck with the study's. In my opinion, an accessory should enhance the ownership experience, and not 'cheapen' it. I'm sure you will get a lot of feedback on it's usefulness

• Where do the owners go? I drive mine everywhere, from supermarket runs to 300 mile blats. Ocassionally commute when not working in central London

• Who do they go with? Usually with the missus or a mate

• Why do they go there? Either daily stuff because it needs doing or to visit friends & family. Sometimes go for the fun of having a drive.

• Do they go the quickest route, longest route or most scenic? Depends on mood. For everyday stuff usually the quickest, otherwise scenic/fun driving route

• How often do they drive the car? 3-4 times a week

• What do they use the vehicle for? Track, posing, driving enjoyment, statement, looking at etc. I Love the look, the noise and the performance of the car.

• What other activities do the owners enjoy? Drinking, socialising, cooking, sailing, playing guitar, making stuff, lifting weights, watching rugby.

Etc.. anything that will tell me about how the car is used so that I can identify any areas that might benefit from an accessory. Car is used to have fun in. I live in London so don't really need a car for day to day stuff but enjoy owning one and being able to have fun on my way to an appointment/destination/event etc.
