I am thinking of replacing my exhaust (99 4.5 Cerb) (I think it's standard) for a louder type, any advice on manufacturer would be welcome. It still has the cats fitted, which I may also remove, anybody done this, and whats the result like?

I had this done on my Chim so I don't know if it applies to a Cerb but it was really easy. A local motor engineering firm removed the exhaust and replaced (at my request) 2/3 of the perforated tubing in the silencer and all the baffle. The sound is magnificent but then that's a V8. What the Cerb would sound like I can't predict.Total cost about £160.

The best sports exhaust (sports tails that replace back box) is made by JP. available from me , i think Joospeed also supply these, and most other specialists.
