TVR Servicing in Somerset/Bris

Was thinking of taking my Chim to have the Manifold gasket done at either David Hendry near Chippenham or Peninsula down near Honiton. I've read that DH are leaning more towards Subaru...what are peoples views of Peninsula? Or are there any ideas about more local - Im about 15 miles south of Bristol. I'm not too keen on taking it to Webbs at Nailsea...Just got my Chim so looking for a good Trev place to have bits and bobs done...Usual wants like friendly service and professional. Cheap labour if poss

(Charged me £75 for a chassis Waxoyl by the way - better than getting covered in the cack yourself!)
Further agree, Dulfords. I had my Chim serviced there back in Feb and couldn't be happier. They tell it how it is, good or bad, and take the time to show you around the car pointing out any future work and advise on a ball park figure.
I've tried others in the region in the past and not had a good experiance, just seem interested in ya money, not ya car.

Well it's not a secret that Richard Smith was one half of Peninsula and some of the staff have emigrated
The new premises allow them to store more cars indoors, engine build room, Rolling road
Labour rates are reasonable
and they actully care
They do not do bodywork themselves but have good suppliers locally

Dulford for me too.
Rich and the boys have looked after my Griff since I bought it and have turned it into the "Monster"!
I knew them as Peninsula, Peninsula-TVR and now Dulford Auto's. but they came from Central and then Brooklands-TVR. Were part of Ian Fuxs championship winning tuscan team.
half the country use them for tech advice and parts!
Top blokes...use them or count the cost...in £50s!

Edited to say that there WERE to parts to Peninsula-TVR.
there was Rich who knew everything and everybody...and another bloke with Money!
Rich now runs his own business again, for himself and his customers!
