Gatwick-based TVR specialist Austec Racing is offering suspension upgrades for TVR owners seeking to improve the quality of their suspension -- specifically, high quality dampers.

Austec said that it now stocks Intrax suspension products and has taken on the sole distributorship of the Dutch company's products for TVR applications.

Austec said: "Intrax has been hugely successful in motorsport as well as with road applications. We have two demonstration cars fitted with Intrax suspension a Tamora and a Griffith 500 which are available for test drives, and soon a demo Cerbera will also be available."

Guide prices start at £1,200 plus VAT and fitting, but all kits will be tailored to individual requirements and budgets.

These look very similar (if not quite identical) to the JRZ shocks that I had on my S1 Elise from www.hangar111.com . They are also made in Holland.......

Generally very happy with them, smoother than standard Konis (what isn't?!) and nice and composed on road and track.

Everybody (including me) has a thing about monotube shocks, there is no doubt they perform better than twin-tube shocks, particularly on low speed rebound and if you want to run shocks upside down (Elise&VX220) then they are a must IMHO but they don't come cheap.

Arh, now I get it,i was told to run mine upisde down but thought it was due to adjustment access.
