Road angel navigator

Has anyone bought this little box of tricks?
If so is it hard to see on a windscreen such as the tuscans?, it seems too small to see anything as the bottom of the windscreen is some distance away from my sitting position, and to possibly hear it over my exhaust too!.
Any other things about it?
spending £500 without actually seeing it in the flesh is a bit of a risk me thinks?

I use a Road Angel Navigatoty in my Griffith and find it great

I've got one and its not bad, I can't hear it (Tiff) that well in the T350 and it can be quite hard to see but its not too intrusive in the car so I suppose you have put up with the screen size. Also the camera warning and database is good and up to date.

I'll let you know: we am selling these things imminently, so I've been told and will be installing one in my Caterham so it can navigate me out of the local hedgerows.

I got one that I swap between the Audi and the Cerb. Had a few teething troubles, they changed the unit and the Euro map card, and now Ive worked out how to use it (instructions? What are they? ) I think its a good piece of kit. If it hasnt got it already, you must download the new user interface. Much better.

Sits fine in the cerb, closer to you than in the Audi so easier to reach/use.

Yer I downloaded the new interface and used it at the weekend and it is deffo an improvement.

memememememe...I'll test one!
Is it rechargable battery powered? or do you have to plug it into the fag lighter all the time, I was thinking of maybe mounting it up near the rear view mirror, would seem a lot closer there? Dont want a wire dangling down if i do.
