There's quite a few of us around Basingstoke. Last year we had a few meets that were quite successful. I'm hoping that there might be a few more in '03.

Bob the Planner is doing one February time....

.mark is a bit closer to you Hayling Island way.

So yes. Hants has quite a few active PHers.

Hants - bl00dy cheek - I'm in Dorset, however only just and a couple of the Hants guys visit the Dorset TVRCC meetings - 1st Sunday of the month. You missed the first one of this year as it was today. Loverly weather it was too and a few of the Hants members came along for the walk to Old Harry Rock see here for pics/report. Good to have you on board.

See Dorset Dawdle under events if you are not busy mid Feb.

Don, Whens the next Pie & Drive ?

Oops! Hope my respect rating didn't take a dent!

Yep. Me and the Mrs fancy coming along to the Dorset Dawdle. Might try and stay over the night before someplace and make a complete weekend of it. We'll bring the Chimaera very likely.

Do you know any good spots to stay over. Fancy meeting up the night before for a pint in good pub? Can't say for absolute definite that we'll be able to come just yet but its a 99%er.

Next Pie and Drive...probably Spring I'd have said. And perhaps a repeat of the first Pie and Drive ending up at the Gamekeepers pub in Mapledurwell. Sean was very, very welcoming and I'm sure would do us proud again...mind you..there's the Fox in Ellisfield which is in very pleasant countryside...and a few other spots so....watch this space. I'll definitely be doing some again in '03.

whatever

For a moment I was wondering who "Mrs Fancy" was and why you weren't taking Mrs Don.

Like Simon T, we are near Andover as well and echo the sentiments about the Pie & Drive events (go on Don, gives us some dates!)

We popped down to the Dorset meet yesterday and they are a really friendly bunch - shame we cant make Bob the Planners event in Feb - fingers crossed that you get the weather we had yesterday.

Yesterday a few of us were on the chain ferry with the Dorset Mob.

Next Hants TVRCC pub meet, this Thursday at Hen and Chicken, Froyle. www.tvrcc-hants.co.uk

I had a really great day. look forward to seeing some photos soon. A couple on the Dorset CC site but not many. Video footage came out a little bumpy!! good shot coming through a tunnel on the way back though

HH - pleased you came up behind me when you did so we could follow you - had no idea which way to go at that point!

David - the Griff is gorgeous. I am truly envious!

and to all those I met for the first time yesterday. Including the chap who wheelspun in the carpark and sprayed both me and the car with copious amounts of mud (sorry, your name has escaped me) it made us chuckle all the way home!

..... and I'm in Whiteley with a blue Cerbera.

Have seen a gorgeous bright green Cerbera in Hedge End and an immaculate dark green (?) P-reg Cerbera in Fareham. Anybody's here??

Hello to the white S3 I see occasionally in the mornings and both the green Chimaera and mustard yellow Chimaera who live nearby!

V8S in Winchester. And Vixen too, when we get it back from rebuild. Our New Year resolution is to make more of an effort to get to local gatherings. . .
