Hi Griffman
Blimey - didn't think I'd ever see that as a topic. Although I now live on the South Beds/Herts border, I'm often in/around Shefford as have family over there. So if you ever see a silvery green Chim 450 it's me!

I very often use Shefford as part of my route to Cambridge, then up through Gamlingay etc. Good Roads to the A14 at St Ives. Usually I am teaching TVR drivers. During the summer I was through Shefford a lot with mainly TVR clients.

I live in Bedford but I often end up in strange places such as Shefford on random drives.

Come on down to the Herts/beds meeting this Sunday 12 in Harpenden! It would be good to see all your cars.

Meeting at 12.30/1pm at 3 Horseshoes. Here's a link to a map to show you the way (which is in the files section of the Herts/Beds/Middlesex/North London E-group.

That link seems to require a password.

I'll try and 'pop' down - Harpenden is not huge. I'm sure I'll find that pub.

Bum, sorry, I thought the files section would be open to allcomers.

The pub is a bitch to find. I'll be back in a moment with the post code so you can look up a map online. There's more than one 3 Horseshoes y'see.

If you're no good at reading maps, here's the old fashioned way. Coming out of Harpenden town centre towards St Albans, straight over roundabout next to Silver Cup pub, up hill for 400-500 yards, straight over roundabout towards St Albans. Carry straight on past golf course on the left. After about half a mile or so road narrows with lots of white lines, turn a TIGHT left into Cross Lane. Drive through golf course and you come to a small cross-roads. Turn right, bear right as road forks, pub is on the left. 5 minutes from Harpenden town centre. See you there.
Cheers Paul

sounds good to me, might be an idea to meet at the esso petrol station on the shefford bypass.
