My first TVR - where can I get it serviced and MOT'd?
Discussion
Hi there,
Just bought a Chimaera 4 litre and wondered if anyone knows of somewhere or someone reasonably local that does TVR servicing and MOTs. I live in Shropshire. Ironbridge to be precise. I've heard rumours that there is an ex-TVR mechanic in Shrewsbury, is this correct? Help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

I know it's not round the corner but Ian at Middlewich is worth the trek on price and quality, you can even get servicing while you wait at 1o/c in the morning if my experiance of paying him a visit is anything to go by.

You can search for specialists by region at www.chimaerapages.com/links.
BTW if there are any omissions to this list please let me know.

Would that be from the updated kitchen facilities then? If you can beef-up the catering we could run timed laps around the ind est on the moto's
I'll take my chances on the yellow one accompanied by the NOS bottle

In that kitchen I can do a 5* dinner, as long as it can go in the microwave or in the toastie machine

Anyone got any suggestions for a Service somewhere a little further south? I have rung a few places on the Chim Pages website, and there seems to be a massive variation in pricing.. like 30%.
Through love of the car I 'tinkered' with it after getting it (post 12k service at TVR garage in north London), both the gearbox oil and the water system were nearly empty.!!! Both ok (have had them checked) but am pretty concerned about getting screwed over by shoddy players.
Any thoughts.. please!?!?!
