The Nurburgring and db limits

Hi,

Planning on taking my '98 4.5 Chimaera to the Nurburgring in May. A bit worried about this on the website:

"The Nürburgring GmbH is actively committed to environmental protection, which incorporates noise prevention. Therefore, all vehicles must comply to the noise limits laid down in the house rules (95 db according to near-field measurement)."

Have any fellow PHers been? How likely am I to be over the limit? Mine's quite loud without pre-cats or bafflers, but not as loud as some!

If it is over the limit, what are the options on silencers?

no problem.

i run mine regularly at 112db. if your worried, just don't rev the nuts of in the carpark or before the bridge (500m down the track)

The bit before the Bridge is now a speed limited section for 300-400 metres.

we are over on the 29th - 5 june, but won'y be at the ring.
its ROCK AM RING week so its shut after Easter mayhem weekend!!

We're settling for Spa, Hockenheim and Spa again for the Tuscan Racing...
