TVR Inspections

Anyone know if Rob Ingleby (sp?) is still going? I know his web site is still up and around but as it does not seem to get updated that often I was not sure if he is still going. Also wasn’t there another Matt (not me) on here who was doing something similar?

Anyone know how much they charge for a one off inspection, i.e. I find the car and they go and inspect it?

Thanks, but I have seen a car I like the look of but don't trust myself to be able to make a sound judgement so fancy getting an expert to look it over for me.

You might want to try Karl Jordan. He's in the Midland somewhere, but I'm sure will travel down.

I used him to buy my Cerbera and he was spot on with both the price the car was worth and what it needed to make it perfect.

Rob charged me about £200 to inspect a car in Kent last year. I was very happy with the service, and with the car which I bought.

Edenbridge isn't THAT far from Crawley so why not take it to Austec and let them have a look at it? Not much they don't know in my experience and I know they'll do an inspection for you.

Seconded. Crawley isnt that far at all, just have it looked over there.

Rob will do a fine job but the others are right - Austec is on the doorstep & will be able to get it up in the air to have a good look at it.

They may even know the car already.

I asked the same question last year and James is the only person who's reputation came out 100% intact based on the online/offline responses I got. I bought from James and have been satisfied with my Tiv and still phone him to pick his brains now and then , Top bloke!
He may well be prepared to travel to kent and check out the car you've seen, if not give him the spec and he can find you one.
