The Tamora has gone.......here comes the T350!
Discussion
Well folks the Tamora finally returned from whence it came today....back to TMS. It was a bit heart wrenching to say good-bye as she's been the best car I've ever owned, very reliable and by far the best handling all round sportscar I've had the pleasure of driving...
The saving grace of today was being the first person to get my hands on the T350C demonstrator at TMS though..and it was superb. I can't wait for mine to come..
Watch this space.....Flasher will return!!

Well, the spec went in to the factory on Friday and I've got my fingers crossed for delivery in early March.
I was quite amazed by how different it is to the Tamora. The car does feel very "together" and the Chassis is very stiff. But the way it deals with the road surface is totally different as is the steering which is more like the Tuscan than my Tamora. If I closed my eyes I could swear I was in a Tuscan...the bumps are not felt anything like as acutley as you feel them in a Tamora.. It will be very interesting to see how it drives on twisty roads, but I couldn't do that today as it was so icy..
Also the wind noise was non existant. I was stunned by how quiet it was with the windows shut. The exhaust note is way noisier and more race car/TVR sounding than the Tamora and the looks I got from other car drivers were stunned open mouthed " WOW!!what the F*** is that?"
I just can't wait now....but I miss my yellow baby already...

Sounds excellent Especially when u get the WOW factor.
Was it strange being in a hard toped TVR again( u had a Cerb right) . What do they reckon the interior rear will look like as at the motor show it looked so empty.

The interior is lovely. Especially the way they have accentuated the rollcage by exposing it and trimming it all in hand stitched leather...absolutley stunning. It's lovely having a coupe again too, I adored my Cerbera..
I will miss having the roof off at times but I rarely took mine off anyway and always felt bloody freezing on motorways and dual carriageways with it off anyway. I guess it really depends on how much emphasis you put on having the top down...

Great news, Flasher! Glad the T350C is everything you hoped for and that the passing of the Tamora will not be in vain....
Just don't do that while you're actually driving yours!!! Do it in the demonstrator if you must.

Could you not have waited until delivery of your T350C to give up the Tamora?
That would've been nice but, it was close to needing a service so putting more miles on it would have cost me and maybe even reduced the price I was getting for it. Also driving any TVR at this time of the year in the crap and salt is no fun at all. It's only 6-8 weeks, I waited 5 long months for the Tamora...
Flasher,
I had the same dilemma when I was in the process of swapping my Chimaera for the Tuscan, my 1st year service was due but the Tuscan wasnt ready yet. As it was early summer I bit the bullet and had the service done as I couldnt bear to be without a car, particularly a topless one. It turned out to be only for a few weeks in the end so a pretty costly decision.

Yes Paul. I kept it two moths longer than I thought I would anyway. I can manage 6 weeks without a TVR, I managed 5 months last year while awaiting the Tamora!!
Roll on March
