Bloody hell! Back home for a day a drive around for 45 mins and see at least 15 TVRs. Most parked but I saw (actually heard first)a few in motion.

Some of my neighbours must be on here. Own up!

Harrow - does that count as W. London?
What were you driving if you could hear other cars?

Mark - you don't need to run in a new camshaft. Just drive normally and change the oil after 1,000 miles. At least that's what TVR Power told me....

Cheers Andy,

the guys at Topcats who did the cam just told me to keep it under 2500 rpm for a couple of hundred miles.
Good idea about the oil change, it's going back for stainless manifolds in a couple of weeks so I'll get them to change it then.

Cheers,
Mark

The few days I was back I was in the S500 and the Audi. I was amazed I could hear a TVR over the ferocious growl of these out and out track day warriors

Okay my patch of West London will be Kensington & Chelsea. Seem to see a few Tuscans and Cerbs around Knightsbridge within the space of 2 hours on 27th December. I sprint up and down to Heathrow and on the A40 a bit and that's where I see most TVR's in action. All others are stationary around High St Ken, Brompton Rd and Gloucester Rd.

I miss you genuine TVR owners strutting your stuff on the road already. Sitting here with the overwhelming siren and horn of the NYFD on the street below is all I have now

looks like we move in similar circles - all my TVR days were when I used to Live in SW11, SW4 and SW18 (slightly sarf of the river from your haunts), but I too awoke this morning with an altercation between one of New York's bravest's trucks and a badly parked SUV this morning.
You're in Union Sq IIRC? I'm just up the street on 23rd & Park....

Don't drive S it's a 4.0 Chimaera - ruby mica red. I'm nearer S. Harrow than central part - how's about you. Do you come to the local TVRCC group at the Koi Karp?

The old pub was good - the weather was excellent (to begin with) new pub came from same factory as Coy Carp - too busy for a Sunday meeting though (aren't they all?).
Shouldn't you be working?

I am so shyte with the St & Ave system in the States it's not funny. I think because London/HK are more complex in comparrison, the simple system just baffles me. When the car arrives how about we go for a little spin? You can help me get out of the city as I really have no idea where anything is bar Flushing Meadows and 5th Ave.
