So tell me Simon (Support Britain), TVR managed to make an £11m loss on a £16m turnover, despite having huge sums of foreign money pouring in to support it. How do you propose we 'protect' British industry? Are you suggesting that the Government steps in and supports it? If so, how much will my taxes go up by?

Quite simply we are not in any situation to have done anything about TVR, Please do not try to de-value what we are doing by making this type of comment.
What we are trying to do is on a smaller scale, SME companies, help them start, grow British manufacturing, make British people proud again for what we produce!!
It is always very easy to mock people who are only trying to help.

If you're not in a position to help TVR, then why come on a TVR forum suggesting we should all be more patriotic and then saying "I'm only trying to help"? I've bought a TVR, what have you done? I don't subscribe to the twoddle "let's all be proud of what we produce and therefore buy it". People, who have kids to feed and mortgages to pay, will buy the product which offers the best value for money. Britain, and indeed other countries, need to produce a quality product at the right price, which consumers will choose to spend their hard earned money on.

Cause my car is at Austecs for some MAJOR repairs. And I´m sure Paul and the boys will be doing a great job.
But quite a lot british people are supporting our ailing economy and buy loads of Beemers, Porkers and Mercs as I saw when visiting my cousin in Sunningdale last week.
But i´ll do my best and order some more Leven goodies!

Please don't think that this is any sort of scam, I know it is very easy to be negative about any type of internet based campaign.
As for employees getting paid a huge bonus...!!! I am so far £5.5k down on this campaign. Anyone else working for Support Britain is doing it for Free.
This is a genuine campaign aimed at helping people to start a company in the UK and to help existing companies to survive, nothing under the belt is going on.
