3 years ago (almost to the day) I had a little accident with a deer. This morning the Cerbera didnt start, the battery seems low. So I jumped in my golf, drove a mile from my house and crunch I hit another deer !!!
Thankfully I was only going 30mph and the deer jumped in fron at the last moment so I sort of scooped and pushed it rather than crashed into it. So the car looks ok , albeit I didnt actually stop. So thankfully the cerbera didnt start or it could have been that that was in the accident!!

Ah, but had the Cerbie started you wouldn't have been delayed and run into that particular deer.

There is nothing like a nice bit of well matured Bambi steak, hammered and flash fried. Yum With a red wine sauce and Rosti potatoes. Heaven.

Ted - in fact I would have got the cerb out of the garage , got out, shut the garage doors and locked them and then driven slowly as the car was cold. So could have been at that point at exactly the same time.
I have only just started a new insurance policy yesterday on the cerb and so it would have been very suspicious!!Phew!!!

So you crashed into a wild animal at 30mph and just carried on your merry way?

bad news for roadkill fans: it's the guy behind who gets the booty, i believe.
someone correct me because that seems a bit unfair.
you'd like to think that if you smacked your motor you'd at least be able to eat like a king for a while.

or for those who know Jeff Foxworthy :-

DOH a deer I shot last week
RAY a guy who pumps my gas.

can't remember the rest but it gets gradually more non-PC towards the last few notes...

I carried on without stopping - yes !
Shouldnt jump out in front of me should it and I had a train to catch.
Seriously though - it had got up and run off into the woods and fields - I find that deers generally seem to be able to run faster than me and this injured one was running off pretty fast regardless. My wife went looking for it later in the morning.
Last time I hit one, the head kind of exploded - I didnt stop that time but the car behind did as legally he can claim it and I Cant.

What was you driving, an artic? Must have damaged your car?

Oh, and how come the guy behind is entitled to the booty and all you get is a dent and blood & fur to clean out of the grill?
