Ordering

Forgive me if this has been posted already but i read somewhere that if/when the factory relocates new orders can still be fulfilled from stock already made. However this would still limit options like i want a certain paint color with a certain interior. I'm wondering is this likely to happen and if so any ideas when. Im worried already it would fall in the exact timeframe i would be switching cars therefore denying me a chance at my perfect tvr again

Well, who knows how they will handle this exactly?
My suggestion would be: get your TVR ordered now, so you won't have the problem at all...

I suspect they will stockpile a few shells and chassis then assemble, paint and trim them in the new location or a temporary one. A sewing machine and a paint booth aren't difficult to set-up, but a full production line may be. After all they don't build each car to order from scratch, they produce numerous components and then use a menu system to build the cars to the required spec'. The paint and the leather is the exception to this.

Given the number of orders taken in the last year it wouldn't take too many items to be stockpiled to satisfy demand!

I can't guarantee as i dont work for the company but i think TVR will want to make any move as seamless as possible with minimal disruption to manufacturing and sales.
However, as with any move, nothing goes 100% perfectly so if you have a particular colour scheme / options list in mind you would be less likely to incurr any delay by ordering now rather than later.

Purely my humble opinion of course.

Thanks for the replies. If i was to order it couldnt be till next year and that is only if the finances dont come through for my first choice car a diablo Good to know these things in advance though!
