Child Seats

Folks,

Has anyone ever fitted a child seat to their TVR? I've got a 4.0L Chim and I'm in the luckly situation where I can keep my car and use it with my daughter now she is 3. I've like to use on the Junior Seat Like a Britax.

Can anyone offer any advise ?

I've managed to get a baby seat and a Infant Seat in the past but the seat buckle is on a long cable and Halfords say I cann't fit a seat, I normally completely Ignore Halfords, but I quite like my daughter....

I have three small children, and I am not really sure what you are asking. What is there to be fitted?
Those child seats are laid on the passenger seat of your car, and then you use the car's seat belt to secure your child. You do not fit them to the car...
I have three of these, two with the detachable backrest, and one without, and they work on any seat of any car without fitting, they only work as a way of having the child "higher", so that the car seat belt can be used.

I may have misunderstood the question though...

They fit no problem in Griff... in fact without 'the kids loving the griff' it may have had to been sold a long time ago!!!

What I've always wondered was could a third seat ever be fitted on the rear parcel shel (if mounted to chassis?) or is the world too PC for that....

You do need to be careful on the long buckle thing - i'm guessing you mean the seat belt stalk. Apparently if they are too long they sit badly against the side of the child seat - they should not 'bend round' the edge of the seat at all, as this can be dangerous, so I was told. You can resolve by just fitting shorter stalks though. I had to do this in the rear of my peugeot in order to get the car seat to fit correctly (accoring to the In-Car Safety Centre in Milton Keynes).

I don't understand the reason, something to do with pressure applied or something.
