Who's going to MONSTER SPA?

Just found out on another TVR forum that Mongoose is going on the MONSTER SPA track week with Guillotine. Who else is going and lets see your car pic?

I'm going for the first time.
The only problem is that I can't find a reasonable insurance.

Tuscan MK 2, 4.0L

Not sure i've got a slot booked, but were not racing at the weekend now so its a bit of a trek to tow the tuscan there and back...


current thinking is fly to cologn and hire a golf / A3 and take that to spa

although u cant find the photo card bit of my driving licence at the mo !!!!


but is anyone is desparate to go i may sell the slot

Can you tell me more about this weekend, where it is and how you book a place etc, I've been wanting to do a track day for some time.

Koen, nice tuscan. I am going for the first time too. Can't wait. Sorry, can't give you advice on insurance as you live in Belgum, but my insurer "Heritage" covers the track day. See you soon. zz

Hey guys,

this time next week i'll be in the pub at ashford for a few beers before sailing in the morning!!!



7 griffs (inc 2 challenge cars!)
1 V8s
3 Cerbys (inc the Boss Cerbera)
1 chim
1 Tuscan racer
1 wedge racer

some are over there already (on Hols) some live over there (Hi koen/Paul) and some aren't PHers! I know, hard to believe!!

Tech support Wagon + Steve Guglielmi as instructor! and he knows his way around spa

still one slot left, but that MAY be going to another Tuscan racer that wants to go if he can get time off!

T - 7 Days!!!!

I'm going. My engine is (finally) back together and I survived last weekends sprint at loton without visiting the scenery.

I've not driven at Spa before ('cept on the Playstation) and I am REALLY looking forward to it. You might want to give me a wide berth for the first few sessions though!

And be nice, or I'll let my wife do all the driving. (Talk about aggression - it's shocking what 5 years commuting on the M6 into Brum does to you!)

That's my 'legal representative'. He's called Rufus and he's a rescue dog, so we're not entirely sure what exactly he is, but the general consensus is a Staffordshire Bull crossed with a Rotweiller.

Sadly, owing to previous commitments (and the fact that he doesn't yet have a passport), Rufus will not be joining Amanda and I on the trip. Which is a shame because he really does seem to like TVRs. And champagne corks.

Sorry to hear about your dog going - that's the biggest (IMHO the only) drawback isn't it?

Yes, this fella's a double-hard b8stard too. He doesn't necessarily start it, but always has the last word. Fortunately, he's not nasty with it, so I never worry that he might finish the job or snap at another dog's owner as they rescue their pet - which wouldn't have attacked if it was on a lead.....

Mostly he's a real softie though. He loves going into work with me because he spend his time in the yard getting fussed by our warehouse staff and visiting truck drivers, and sunbathing. What a life.
