TVR Newsletter
Discussion
All,
Amazing thing, just went to look at the TVR website see if they have updated the T350 info, especially about the sequential gearbox, they haven't? Do you need a clutch with a sequential gearbox?
Well anyway, they have a little piece of text down the bottom saying 'register for the tvr newsletter' well amazing, not only can you not get in touch with them when you want to but now they are offering to talk to me via a newsletter.
Well I have registered to see what arrives.

The news letter thing has been around since the new site - 4 months or so. It is not great it has to be said, I've had 2 letters, the info was weeks out of date. Things like the Tuscan Challenge race dates were supposed to have been sent out 'buy the end of the year' (2002) in the news letter, were they err............... no !! Nice idea though TVR.

Signed up for the newsletter as soon as the new site had been launched, have since received one newsletter (via email - not printed copy) which as mentioned was out of date - Pistonheads is just TOO good at keeping up to date!
BTW sequential gearbox, assuming it is the same setup as that of the T400/440R does come with a clutch. However according to Autocar you don't need to use the clutch moving up a gear, just when you go down the gears (to lengthen the life of the clutch). All in all it's supposed to mirror the sequential boxes used in BTCC cars.
