Walldonways T350c
Discussion
Stopped at Walldonway on Saturday and had a good poke round their T350c. Build quality seemed pretty good, although I think TVR need to work on how to get into the boot a bit (pop the boot, then have to try & squeeze your fingers under the glass to open it). Car is even better in the real world than it was at the motorshow.

I still think build quality ie tested at over 120 mph on a bumpy road.....tends to prove if things are TIGHT or not.....or whether Mr and Mrs squeak come a visiting along with their mate Mr Unglue and Mr Falloff......I am sure they will be far better than previous models though......and I am sure they have well and truly sorted that engine out now....

No test drives are being allowed yet !
The car isn't actually registered, and it's only done 300 miles so far, so it's run in. I'm booked in for a test drive 2 weeks on Friday, by which time it'll be run in & will have had it's first service... I'll report back once I've sampled Blackpools finest 3.6l creation yet !
I really think the car looks stunning & (no offence meant to Tuscan owners/lovers) is the best looking car TVR have produced since the Cerbera. As Flasher says, the rear 3/4 view is GREAT, and it's even better in the flesh !

Looks the same colour as the TVR Centres T350C demo. I saw it last Friday, only had a quick look so cannot comment on build quality.
I did notice the boot(?) space did not seem that large. I guess the petrol tank now lies flat ?
Although I think it looks so much better than the Tamora, I still think it looks too "stubby". I prefer the longer overhangs of the Tuscan.
Cheers

I had a drive in the Mole Valley one earlier today and it was very good, no creaks, squeaks or rattles.
Engine seemed very torquey and driveable, even keeping the revs right down as its being run in. Build quality seemed very good,
seems they have improved it, in comparison to a very early one i saw.
Seemed very solid and rode very smoothly without any crashing or banging. No noticeable wind noise at all.

Drove the T350c on Friday !
Not bad, but Walldonway still haven't run it in, so I was still restricted to 3-4,000 rpm max...
BUT, build quailty was better than expected, and it didn't rattle - AT ALL ! Ok, it's only done 450 miles, but still...
Drive was pretty good, although slightly skittish, but this is probably to do with the 18" wheels, rather than the car.
Then took out the Tamora demonstrator to feel the full punch of the 3.6 straight 6. I'll admit I was pleasantly surprised at both the noise it made & the punch of the engine.
Am going back once they have run it in for a decent drive in thw T350 (at the rate they are going, it's going to be April before it's run in !
), but for now, I'm suitably impressed. Mind you, it wasn't good enough to tempt me away from the Cerb !
