skid training

I'm trying to find somewhere that offers some sort of skid training, but on 2 different levels. Firstly for a friend who hasn't been driving long (and doesn't have a 'performance'car)wants to do something to feel more confident in her ability to deal with poor conditions. Secondly for me to a bit less intimidated in my own car when close to the limit, probably more evident on track than on the road. I don't want to become a drift king but just to learn how to handle the car better when the adhesion is poor - without over reacting. Would quite like to do mine in my own car, T350, (or somthing similar with a little less power) though I think we might struggle to find somewhere that will allow my friend to use her Kangoo! Any personal recommendations?

I can recommend Brands Hatch Skid Course for you friend as I did that just after passing my driving test. Good fun all the way, and teaches you a lot about car control.
As for you, Jonathan Palmer track days are very good, but have not done a skid course there!

I've done the Castle Combe skid pan course, along with my girlfriend. A very mixed bunch of ages and skills but everyone had a great time. The instructors were great, a nice balance between teaching and letting you have some fun!
I think there is an advanced skin pan course for those looking to get more in depth.

I would have thought with your car you get daily skid training just with a quick drive in the countryside.
