Hi all - i am starting to put a website together that is just gonna be a general interest website for TVR's - no way am i trying to do anything that this fantastic site does, but just act as a portal, and store information / act as a repository

Just started putting it together - but I think it is a site looking for a home - anyone in regional TVR Owners clubs that would like me to start housing their stuff there - please give me a shout.

Additionally - i was going to start getting all electrical diagrams for the various cars posted up there, part numbers etc... and anything else people would like

other areas - i have started to add my own diary of owning a TVR Cerbera since purchase
and also a wedge rebuild that a good friend of mine is doing...

nope - but if you're telling me that TVR would mind the free advertisement (which is where I got most of the pictures from) - I am sure they would mind. Just spreading the message :-) TVR's are great! :-)

As a lawyer afraid I have to agree with purpleperil - if you've copied TVR's logo without their permission they may not be too pleased. I'd also say you have copied the overall "look and feel" of their site, again something you could get in trouble for. You're best off stating clearly on the front page that your site is not an official TVR website, and don't copy anyone's logos or images without permission.

Sorry to be negative, other than that I think it's great you're doing the site, and wish you all the best

Of course they are going to mind! You are trying to do some decent PR and marketing for TVR. Havent you learnt anything about TVR yet, they positively *hate* somebody trying to advertise or market them! I mean christ, someone might even buy a car because of you...and then where would we all be eh? Wont somebody think of the children! etc etc etc
