Damn!
Flat battery....
Stalled in the garage, flooded; 3 hours plus all plugs out to get firing.
Then finally a coolant hose decided to let go all over the manifold - bodge - bodge - bodge......
Still made it to the show - but too late to go in
However, picked up American TVRCC member Mike Chapman and we (me plus Mark in a Griff 500) took him for a decent blast across the Somerset Levels, Cheddar Gorge and a decent country pub before depositing him back at his hotel in Bristol.
So it wasn't an entirely wasted day.
Sorry to have missed everybody - I'm sure I'll see you all later this year.
Till then - Cheers

Sorry if the S was a bit noisy, it's off back to Peninsula to be de-louded![]()
Can a TVR be too noisy ? - I thought the misses was going to get some fluffy ear defenders

Btw - How was Zig-Zag hill?
I didn't give it large up the hill however felt the back end move about a couple of times. Had a very interesting moment with a vauxhall - He pulled out on me whilst overtaking him and a Merc (45mph in an NSL FFS - Sunday drivers !) - manouvre, signal, mirrors in his case !
I'm pleased you enjoyed the route. How many times did you ground out on the way back ?
Bob
I thought the idea of going as a group was to keep together
. I did my best to keep everybody in sight however I admit I was enthusiastic at times and yourself and the Griff swapping places a few times did confuse me a bit
. Pleased you enjoyed the run.
