Wow!

Drove a Cerbera for the first time yesterday!! very cool indeed. Having read a thread on here a couple of weeks ago which had degenerated into a somewhat sexist debate about women drivers and there ability (or not) too handle such a machine, my excitement at the prospect of driving my boyfriends pride and joy had diminished and I was feeling a little intimidated despite the fact that I believe myself to be a very competent driver with alot of enthusiam for cars.

However..... yea haaaaa!!! I nailed it! lol (his words not mine) Peice of cake really. Ok yes it is a very different driving experience, to me the steering was the biggest difference, and no I didnt drive it in the rain and the conditions were good but apparently I was way better than ny of the guys he had let drive it all of whom stalled it several times! So there!!!!!1 lol Cant wait to get it on a race track now!

This is not meant to open up another sexist argument..... im just dead chuffed that i didnt make a complete arse of myself!

We have a lady Cerbera owner in the Sprint Chamionship, also...

The car now owned by SHpub was once owned by an ex rally driver lady from Yorkshire .. she drove probably 60k miles in that car and absolutely loved it.

My wife drives the Chimaera very well indeed and when we drove a Cerbera recently she was excellent at driving that too, no problems whatsoever. Have to say, although she was making reasonable progress she is the only person I know who can drive a car with a sprts exhaust quietly! Changing gear properly and not generally buggering around with the loud pedal probably had something to do with it
