Bennno and I found this hidden away behind the factory last Friday. Danielle begged us not to reveal it to the public ahead of the next Motor Show but I thought it was too big a scoop for Pistonheads to miss out on...So, here goes the first unveiling of the New TVR "Chassis"

The strategically placed piece of grey camouflage across the bonnet doesn't do anything to conceal the obvious retro roots of this stepped wedge design. And isn't it nice to see that the indicator lights haven't been added as an after-thought.

Quite impressive that despite all the piss-taking Chassis has finally got his hybrid into production, albeit with a TVR engine....

That's a Cayenne isn't it? Obviously Porsche design as it is soooooooooooo beautiful and looks like it has some off road capability whilst being undeniably fast.

Ah yes, the Automotive-enginner-of-the-year 2010 - wonder where he went to? IIRC he was going to build a Ferrari from 1st principles but without the encumberment of any knowledge or tools....

What about Z3 too? Now there was a thread that kept me glued to PH for about a week - pehaps we need a "classic threads" section?

It's clearly be prepared to act as a pace car for a bit of free publicity! Let's just hope those F1 cars can keep up.

must admit that the speed 12 engine was a very tight fit, build quality compared to a X5 or cayenne was slightly lacking though

dont think the chipboard bonnet will make it to production but the run flat tyres will

must admit the combined rear spoiler/ dorma feature is revolutionary and the hi-level indicators are sooo 2003, I notice by it's low aggresive stance that it has been fitted with the latest red nose suspension, will we see it at Le Mans though?

I'm suprised you didn't claim the "£100 and we'll print it" award from Autocar. Sutcliff must be turning in his bed that he hasn't managed to "max it" on some random French road

Pettsie is right. It's being shipped out to India to star in a TV ad showing local metal bashing jack-the-lads turning it into the new Z thingy.
