I keep seeing it on adverts for TVR's for sale?

It depends what vehicle the red rose package applies to. Basically its a performance package with better braking, suspension, and engine mods to increase power. Some would doubt the validity of the latter part of that statement.

The Tuscan had an extra 40hp as well. From what I understood at the time the Mk1 Red Rose was what eventually became the S.

Driven both 4.5 and 4.5 Red Rose since mine happens to be a Red Rose Cerbera and to be honest I do find the Red Rose smoother around town. As for the power etc, unless you know them all inside out I doubt you could really tell which one was a RR car or not.

Blueprinted 375 bhp 3.6 Speed Six
374 bhp @ 7800rpm
395 NM @ 5800 rpm

Larger discs front and rear
322 mm ventilated discs with 4-pot calipers
298 mm ventilated discs with single caliper

Large bore freeflow exhaust

had Red Rose upgrade on my Tuscan 4.0L courtesy of TVR Power.
Much smoother and faster now, almost too fast - like I need traction control now!
Just put 2 new tyres on the front though so that ought to sort it.

I had a Tam Red Rose and now a T350c (standard.) The extra 30 bhp made quite a difference so now I feel I am driving a slow sensible car (sort of!) I'd have another RR next time around for sure.
