Am getting grief from SWMBO as I would like a Cerbera but SWMBO would prefer a Tuscan as its'open. As a compromise, I can't see any reason why a glass sunroof can't be fitted into a Cerbera since the roll cage bars don't seem to get in the way.

Has anyone in "etherland" looked into this before.

If I rememeber rightly Brooklands did one for a customer and might be worth a ring, I was told this by a customer last year, never followed it up though.

Also, seem to remember seeing a cascade blue cerbera with a sunroof - not sure where though, and sometime ago.

I quite fancy this too - would be an interesting addition to the a/c.

Found it! Edited to include the photo www.tvrfreak.com/Albums/Images/Other%20-%20Cerbera%20with%20Sunroof.jpg

...also I'm sure in a previous post that Zertec said they would have a version available for this spring???

I think Webasto (spelling?) did a conversion at approximately £1k. It worked like the old Honda Mk I CRX, whereby the roof lifted electrically up and went back above the roof (ie making a wedge like spoiler).

Yea thats what I thought - sure it was for sale on PH before the New Year, but no sunroof mentioned on that ad. I'm sure. Also, the OBoyles excellent 'Cerbera colour chooser' website is no-more. Wouldnt mind continuing with that idea on my site...is Mr. OBoyle around??

Definately a very well executed photoshop special.... I've got the orignal pic at home somewhere...

Yes it is Finians car (or was), but he sold it to "Wolfie" about 18months ago? Wolfie then sold it in November, but I've got no idea who has it now....

The "grass" seen through the sunroof has been cloned from the grass around it - to look real it would need to take into account the passenger door mirror glass (not impossible to do - just very hard)

Getting back to the original point of the post - has anyone ever had it done then, rather than simply modified a photo?

Seems its worth a mail to Zertec...

Thanks for all the serious replies esp Tommomic amd Jamer.

By the way it's not Finian's car. I spoke to his lady wife last night as she confirmed they had never had such a mod done. Right colour car though - well spotted

Springbok : It is Finians car (see original pic lower down this thread - it's identical). The sun-roof has been "added" buy someone in Photoshop - i.e. that car isn't real ! As someone has already said, that photo is taken on Finians drive !

I've never heard of a Cerb with a sunroof, but Zertec were considering developing one, don't know if they ever got anywhere with it though. Drop Clive a mail, he'll be able to give you more details...
