Coming out of Harpenden town centre towards St Albans, straight over roundabout next to Silver Cup pub, up hill for 400-500 yards, straight over roundabout towards St Albans. Carry straight on past golf course on the left. After about half a mile or so road narrows with lots of white lines, turn a TIGHT left into Cross Lane. Drive through golf course and you come to a small cross-roads. Turn right, bear right as road forks, pub is on the left. 5 minutes from Harpenden town centre. Hope to see you there.

Those slightly less keen - at the White Horse in shenley for about 2-2.30

Those who fancy sunday dinner first at home with the missis and maybe the first half of a footie game on the TV - dunstable Downs by about 3.30 (assuming the weather is up to it).

By the way, there's a great hot-dog stand at Dunstable so bring a pound and treat yourselves!

And if you've a digital camera bring it along. I need pics for the Herts/Beds website.

Weather permitting i'll be there at Harpenden, and should definitely make the Downs, it's just up the road from me! I hear the pub is a little small on the inside, and i'll be bringing the little one, so will head over if the weather is half decent to have a wander around the car park.

I'll being a camera to whichever I go to too.

I'll try and make it (was good to meet up last time) but I have a birthday bash on Sat night so they'll be lots of and so as long as I don't feel on Sunday morning...

The Downs in the afternoon sounds the best bet!!

With the weather not to bad (but but dull)I drove up to the Downs, roof down, wind in hair (well whats left)car sparkling from this mornings polish, guess what There was only me and Bigtone there.
