Or just put Peter Wheeler, Ex-TVR Boss, Clitheroe, Lancashire and I'm sure it will get to him. I think his estate is large enough for the postman to know who he is.

Whether he is sufficiently interested these days to come to a Griffith ownwers meeting is an entirely different matter!

Saw him in teh pit garages at Silverstone last Saturday - been racing a white DB4 and he was too hot to talk to

Interestingly he shares the car with one Ben Samuelson - whoever he is

Just curious why you think gettingn Peter Wheeler or John Ravenscroft would be so unlikely. At the end of the day surely the men who fashioned the Griffith (which lets face it is pretty much universally hailed as TVR's masterpiece) would be interested in attending a celebration of their creation?

Nice chap in a Tim nice but dim way, he took me round Milbrook in a Tuscan R, his driving was, er awkward, but he seemed to be down to earth

PRW wasnt a customer facing person and would avoid talking to people at race meetings/motorshows wherever he could. He preferred to watch from the sidelines and let the others do the talking.

JR is very much the same, Neill Anderson (they went to Uni together) was the speaker of the two so he would do iMech talks and go and visit suppliers.

I have known them both for many, many years and in that time only had about a dozen conversations (ie more than 1 sentence) with PRW and the longest was him shouting at me when we were hearding his cows, and its only been over the past few years that I can call round to see JR on his own and have a proper giggle.

I am not saying they wont turn up, i am saying its very unlikely but both are full of surprises.

Ben is actually very smart, he thinks before he speaks so can come across as that. Ben did a fantastic speach at Dads funeral and knows his PR stuff due to his contacts etc.

I have a lot of time for Ben, Ravenscroft and Mr. Anderson as well as the majority of the managers and worker at TVR both past and present.

When Ben was younger he always reminded me of the Milky Bar Kid

I used to visit John Ravenscroft as a supplier and your right very little small talk, but get him techy and it was a differnt matter.
