TVR record attempt

This has and is taking a little more time than first expected...but all good things take time. There has been a thread on the LEMANS section about this.

Reason for this posted on TVR, is we need TVR drivers for a Record Attempt next year.

So the website is www.champagnemountain.com.. This is very much work in progress, but we (myself and Matt Pryde) are absolutely going to make this happen. If I am not sat here, this time next year, saying how well it went and how we made loads of money for charities I will be gutted and also possibly broke.

This is our plans:-

1) Lemans 07 run, via Paris
2) Guinness Book of Records Attempt. So all those TVR/Porsche/Lotus/Subaru drivers, we need you.
3) Raffle for a new Subaru Impreza WRX STI.Limited to 1500 Tickets and 10% to charity.
4) VIP hospitality, with Charity Auction/Live music
5) Most importantly 'The ChampangeMountain Girls'

More details will be shown in the next few weeks, but currently we are trying to confirm legally all the following points:-

Final sign up of Charity documentation
Final pricing for all packages.
Agreement of Record attempt.

20% of "£TBC?" is "£". It gets a bit harder without the question mark.

Reading through the web site the only reference I can find is to a 'convoy record' on the way from an overnighter in Paris to Le Mans.

The site is completely undeveloped. You have bored a lot of potential participants by giving absolutely no information far too far in advance of your intended goal.

10% of ticket sales to Charity? Not impressed.

If you are publicising a charity event then make it generous. So far it just seems like your publicising a commercial event of some kind. We charge for that.
