Jeez I’m sure that this chappie is very nice and all, but flogging a 4.2 Cerbera as it’s an unwanted gift !!! Why don’t I have any friends or relatives that shower me with gifts of such magnitude??!! Oh to be in the position to say nah think I’ll flog that Cerbera, don’t really want it but thanks any way

Surely he must be

Yes, seems a bit strange - you'd have thought the donor would have checked it was going to a good home!

Poor Cerbera has only done 14k - hardly been used!

Some people have no taste! Probably not as comfy as his Merc or XK8!!

I'd settle for a new set of tyres as a gift! (anyone know a cheap place for Chimaera rear 245's by the way??!!)

Why does he add 'Genuine reason for selling' It sort of implies that it being an unwanted gift isn't, in fact, genuine - sure works as an advert though!

Springbok - Depends if he means from a main dealer. I personally would not be put off if it was from the dealer network or an independant - as long as they were a reputable servicer with some good recommendations (eg. Joospeed/Team Proactive, etc).

If it has not even been serviced at a good independant then I would be very wairy and seriously question why?
Anyone who loves their TVR is particularly careful who services it!

Cheers,
Tommo

£50 should be about right.

Generous soul that I am I would be prepared to give him 50 of my hard-earned reddies for his unwanted old banger!!
