Beautiful Chim Damaged...So Angry...

Popped into Halfrauds this afternoon for five minutes to buy things to make my Chim more shiny and when I came out somebody had driven into the front wing of my beautiful Imperial Blue car then left without leaving any details.
The front wing now has a big gouge in it in front and behind the wheel and there are scratches and bits of alloy all over the wheel. Looks like it was an alloy wheel on full lock that did the damage.
Luckily I was going to get that wheel refurbed anyway cos the previous owner had kerbed it but my paintwork was beautiful!
Will give Chips Away a ring but not sure how they'll get on with the Pearlescent paint. A respray is going to be ££££.
How could you just drive off and leave something like that? What's wrong with these people? I'm sure it was one of the mums in their big 4x4s and people carriers that just barge around that car park. I deliberately parked away from everyone else as well.
I know it's a long shot but 13:45-14:15 today @ Shires Retail Park, Leamington, in the corner near Halfords. Did anyone see anything? There was a guy in a yellow Megane sport coupe nearby and a black AMG SL55 as well. Asked around all the shops but no CCTV outside.

seems to me the only way to be sure of catching people that do this sort of thing is to have motion activated CCTV in your own car!

WHAT ??? most people have to work hard to obtain their P&J and then some numbskull, probably on the phone at the time goes and does that !! It dont matter if its a scratch or the whole bloody side of the car it still makes

Woaahhh. Calm down chap. He may have a a US powered Tiv but then so do most other Pre-Cerb owners. The Rover unit is just a modified Buick after all.
Angusfaldo..... I think you will find that ggt`s reaction is not down to this thread in isolation. There have been many sarcastic and very negative comments posted by the gentleman concerned over the last several months.At some stage everyone bites back and it was ggt`s time and place........
