Happier than I was on Friday

Friday was a bad day...

Thought I was going to have to sell the Griff mainly due to a slow house move and an even slower economy.

Thought I was going to get out bid on a number plate for the Griff, why I've not a notion...

So, on Saturday I got D41 CAP for the reserve price and yesterday I find that I can keep the Griff for the time being afterall.

Better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick. Lovely....

Did you get your reg at the DVLA auction? I was there and got N311 MAC on Sunday at reserve price too. Went down pit as well - a good day out.

Certainly did...

Good to hear you got yours at reserve. Some plates went for stupid money, 17k for BAL 81R and one on Sunday for 21K SAJ 7D or something, blimey.

Thought it was quite interesting at the auction in an anoraky kind of way. I've heard that the museum is a good day out in its own right, but I didn't get to go down the pit, but I've been down one before, kind of obligatory where I come from.
