There seems to be some confusion on Pistonheads regarding the current UK price list (not suprised? me either). This is the UK price list direct from TVR at the time of the British Motor Show:

In this day and age should'nt air con be standard especially with the heat some of the components give off inside the car.

The price has gone down since 2005 when I bought my Tamora...

So what happens if you don't spec the 18" spiders? Do you really get 16"s on a Sagaris?

I THINK (& please dont hold me to this) that the new Sagaris comes with 19" wheels - modifications have been made to make them fit.

Also, that price list doesnt mention the new seats that come as standard on all models - this must have some effect on the list price so perhaps that basic price is being revised.

This was my understanding from our chat on the stand the other day, but I might have got the wrong end of the stick, if Im wrong I apologise in advance - but prices were confirmed to us more than once.

Bang for buck its still one hell of a good car.

Sorry to break the news old boy but, one of the guys on the TVR stand at the motorshow confirmed that both the Tamora and the T350 are no longer, TVR will just make the Tuscan and Sagaris range.

16 inch Spiders are standard on the Tuscan Targa and Convertible. 18 inch are starndard on the Tuscan S and Sagaris.

The price list is from the TVR Media Pack handed out on press day at the British Motor Show. 19" are an option and the new seats do not have a cost as they come as standard. Do note that half-hide is no longer standard so that may be where they're rolling in the cost.

I was told the same. Only three cars in the current line-up with one more on it's way. The Tuscan replacement is also coming along nicely and will be all new from the ground up.

Sounds great. Only one question left then. Why are the others banging on about a £10,000 price hike on the other thread like it's gospel (62k Saggy price)? Are those the '06 prices, with a massive rise in '07 or are they just plain wrong?

This is the one I don't understand - 18 inch alloy wheels (chrome or anthracite) - 1292.50. It means that they are £1300 more than the non-specced wheels, because if you chose them, you wouldn't be having the others.

Must be more to the S pack aswell.As a package its £9987 and if you spec them seperate they are only £5462 ish.Perhaps it would be better to spec your car with 16 inch wheels and order some 18's separately then sell the 16's for whatever you could get for them ?

That's standard practice for most manufacturers price lists though, 15" to 16" or 16" to 17" upgrades for alloys can run to £600 and above, way more than the difference in wheel and tyre prices I'm sure.

I was told on the stand that 305s and Tams are still for sale but not for long. I know why you're gutted, though. The Tam was a revelation as to just how good a car can be to drive and I fell for it. However, the Tuscan Conv drives every bit as well (can't imagine anything being better) and feels very well put together. And, of course, has the 4.0 Sp 6 so perhaps it is better. If you can't afford one, don't drive it.

I took a T350 to Spa. It was somewhat gaudy, being bright yellow with Racing Green decals all over it. We were stopped on a motorway by an accident and those around us didn't wander up to the scene to gawp, they came up to us to ask what the car was. We even had a 'thumbs up' from two Belgium traffic cops as we passed them at 130. In a 130 limit, I hasten to add. Mind you, Laurence found it all too easy to become confused with MPH and KPH. A terrific weekend, the only dowside to which was LNT's Tuscan, which was going very well, being t-boned by an out-of-control Audi.
