Been to Gatwick TVR this weekend with a mate to look at a Chim for him (unfortunately he wasn;t allowed to drive it, too young) and the options for moving on from the Griff if the money situation improves. Excellent service and very friendly. They even spared a fem minutes to go out in the Tuscan 2 convertible, which I thouroughly enjoyed!

I bought my Griff from there 3 years ago. I had a good experience with them. It had to go back under warranty to have a new starter motor just after I'd bought it - no quibbles there. I haven't used them since then because they are just too far from me.
I bought my Tam from Gatwick TVR (when it was part of Mole Valley). I found them very good. The only fault I thought was that they never had any courtesy cars although they did give me a lift home.
It used to make me laugh when I phoned them and someone used to answer saying just "Hello". I was never sure if I had called the wrong number.

Know what you mean, there are quite a few dealers that have a shortage of courtesy cars - I would have thought that when setting up, a few courtesy cars would be fairlly high on the 'things to get' list, beings the dealers are very few and far between - meaning quite a trek for most owners..

You tend to get a Ford Ka, but none the less you get one and keep it regardless of what is wrong with yours. I said to Gatwick that I could not be without a car (my TVR being my only car) and they made sure I was never left without.
I think they answer the phone in a much more professional manner and deal with customers in the same way. Probably why they broke away from Mole Vally.

Mole Valey TVR are not a TVR dealer anymore. They are very close to where I lived so I went there when looking round for my Tiv. They seemed ok, but have clearly fallen out with TVR and it shows. They are only interested in working on Tuscans (and appeared quite snooty about it) and have the odd car for sale.
As I wanted a Tamora from a dealer, I went elsewhere (Racing Green who were excellent BTW).
